Due to patient demand and waiting times we reserve the right to close access to new patients waiting to see a GP prior to the indicated closing time as we are required to have seen all patients and to vacate the centre by the closing time.

The centre is open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays.

  • For walk-in patients there is no need to book in advance you can simply just walk in and wait to be seen, however we would advise that you call reception before you travel particularly as we get towards the end of the day. This is because if we have an existing queue of patients waiting to be seen we may have to close the walk-in service earlier than eight o’clock.
  • For patients who are registered with the centre appointments can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.

Telephone our main reception number 0161 655 7434 for enquiries or to book appointments.

There is always access to the health centre during our opening hours, even when the shops are normally closed.  After 5:00pm access into the Shopping Centre is via the entrance opposite the bus station, or via the roof top car park.  If you have any concerns about access just give us a call.

There is no specific parking allocated for the Health Centre, patients can use the shopping Centre car park, or one of the local municipal car parks, or the town centre Tesco car park (up to 3hrs only). Please be aware that charges may be applicable for your parking.
